Then and Now
Had been to Mumbai, recently - after a year ! Had a great time with friends . Shuba came to visit and that made it really awesome. Went on a nostalgic trip down memory lane alongwith her on the Marine Drive, B Road, JS Hall ! (Summer of 2001) . The time of Summer internship when the Gullu gang discovered itself . I for one had one of the best time of my life in those two months . Staying with Rocky, GM, D, PC and Goyal + Sachdev and Amogh close by The excitement never used to end as we discovered and rediscovered ourselves. Even after 7 years we share a special bond and although most of us are living miles apart a common factor which binds us even now is the Summers! Cheers to it. Hopefully one day we will try to bring all the experience of those 60days into words!

Lot of activity,emotions,experiences, packed into two months.from dinner at JS to early morning tea.To weekends spent sleeping to the occasional movie to the Coco Jumbo experience( i think that is what it was called)to being asked to vacate the flat to following up with Abdullah :).List goes on.
To name one highlight it would be the day we had to move out of B road and finally spent the night at Wilson college.
as they say, its the small things in life that matter. and that summer is a whole treasure trove of those small things:-
- bfast with goyal saab at JS
- tht infamous order for an extra papad
- piles!!!!
- wake up rituals
- banging on the bathroom door
- towel clad smoker in the balcony, adnan sami
- 91 LTD with GM
- first salary (pittance!!)
- batch meetings (and the
aftermath)
- evictions most bizarre!!!
- strange ppl playing x-box
- sneek peak of amisha
and many more!!!
Let's not forget the prank played by Rocky that kinda backfired on him only :)
Also cherish the saved money over 2 months of summers and splurging it all on a dinner with Sex @ Khyber.
It was good while it lasted....great when I remeber about it!
that line - Dinner with sex @ khyber will sound pretty kool to an outsider ;)
yeah!! now that i read it; it does make a lot of ulterior sense...i can see sachdev cringing coz of his fair name being muddied again :D
